Professional queuer lan is content to spend his life waiting. As his girlfriend, Anna, prepares to move to Australia, he avoids making decisions that might change their future together, finding greater comfort in queues and conversations with strangers than in confronting the end of their relationship. Moving through chance encounters and unfinished ambitions, lan reflects on time, commitment and his dormant dream of
becoming a writer.
